Is Mew worth a Master Ball?

Search by name or Pokédex number.

No, save it

Mythical, but this is a guaranteed-catch encounter - Special Research rewards and similar can't flee and are caught on the first throw no matter what ball you use. A Master Ball buys you nothing here, so save it for an encounter where catching isn't already a sure thing.
